The J16 boys, J16 girls and J15 girls headed to Dorney Lake (the Olympic venue) for the Scullery National Junior Sculling Head, one of the main junior races of the calendar.  With less than ideal conditions (very cold, very wet), the juniors raced against other schools and clubs from across the country over either 3.6km (J15) or 5.4km (J16).

The J16 boys kicked off with an evenly paced race which placed them within the top half of their category, finishing 17th of 38 crews.  The WJ16 girls followed next, finishing 7th of 30 crews and, in the process, earning selection as the quad for 'Team East' as part of the Junior Inter-Regional Regatta in April.  The afternoon saw the WJ15 coxed quad hit the water, with new cox, Peter, handling the conditions maturely to lead the girls to another top third finish, coming 16th out of 49 crews.
