Club Captains
The club's AGM and SGM ('Special General Meeting', or 'Captains Elections') were held on Tuesday 8th September.
The club unanimously voted in David Lodge and Sarah Airey as the new Captain and Vice Captain. Both have a great deal of rowing experience and have been members of City for several years.

David Lodge learned to row at CCRC, winning the most improved Novice award in 2005. He has since gone on to race with City 1 at Tideway and Dorney and competed at the FISA World Masters in Vienna in 2009. He was an integral part of the coaching team that put Girton M1 back into the Lents first division last year.
David is from Essex and likes cycling, surfing and skiing. |

Sarah Airey rowed with the St Radegund and Pembroke College before joining CCRC. She's still rather proud of rowing in the City and Pembroke crews that both won headship in 2008. She's from Appalachia and likes long distance running, bluegrass music and Virginia Tech. |
Other committee positions were decided at the meeting and the full list can be viewed here.
