We are an open club with a passion for furthering the sport of rowing.

Our membership year runs from October but you can join at any time throughout the year. If you're interested in joining please contact the Captain (ccrccaptain@gmail.com) in the first instance in order to make sure we find the best home for you in one of our squads.

Key Terms

Membership Types

Become a Full member including Junior and Student options (full access to all facilities)
Become a Cox member (full access to all facilities, including coxing but not rowing)
Become a Social member (full access to all facilities, excluding the gym. Does NOT include rowing/boat use)
Become a Temporary member (full access to all facilities, subject to safety and competency checks, for a short period). Example, a visitor to Cambridge who is an experienced rower, staying for up to 6 months.
Become a “Bumps” member (full access to all facilities, subject to only a safety check, for the month of July, including in the Town Bumps event).

Membership fees 24/25

Please contact the Captain and Director of Rowing in the first instance if you wish to join the club.

Once you have met with them and they are able to fit you in with a crew, you can use the form below to purchase membership.

Annual membership fees are:

Senior – £410
Student (year round) – £245
Student (vacations only) – £102
Junior (under 18) – £245
Junior Performance – £245 + £45/mo
Social (non-rower)* – £82
Cox (non-rower) – £40
Learn to Row Course (Adult) – (TBC)
Learn to Row Course (Junior, age 12-18) – please email ccrcjuniors@gmail.com for further information
Temporary Membership – (for short term visitors) – £60/month

A student is anyone in full-time education after the age of 18.

The temporary membership fee will be deducted from the full fee if the membership is extended at end of the temporary period. This does not apply to the Learn to Row course fee, which is run separately to club membership.

Note: Membership payment must be made before the end of October. There is a 10% admin fee for late payment.

We are an open club with the only limitation being that we need to ensure the facilities can be used safely.
