Our annual Spring Head 2 Head race takes place on the Saturday of the Cambridge Big Weekend and this year will be on 3 May 2025.

The race is two lengths of 2,000m: race downstream, spin, and race back upstream for one of the longest races on the Cam!

The first leg starts at the Chesterton Railway Bridge in Cambridge and finishes at the A14 bridge. Boats spin at the lock and racing starts again at the A14 bridge and finishes at the Chesterton Railway Bridge.
